A preliminary stakeholder engagement was held at the Binariland Vegetable Growers and Marketing Cooperative Society located around the Ghana Atomic Energy as part of HortiFresh’s cluster development activities. The aim of this meeting is to conduct a needs assessment of these farmers and tailor interventions. Ranking high on the challenges these farmers face are access to market, pest and diseases identification and treatment, knowledge on simple record keeping which will enhance the chances of accessing financial assistance among many others.
