Fruit & Vegetable Trade Mission from the Netherlands

Opportunities Ahead: A group of Dutch companies active in the fruit & vegetable value chain will be in Ghana to explore business opportunities in the Ghanaian horticulture sector. During this specialized “fruits’ & vegetables’ trade mission”, the Dutch Companies will be introduced to  future business partners & clients, meet relevant stakeholders to discuss the practicalities and requirements of setting up businesses in Ghana.
The program further includes field visits in both the coastal region (Greater Accra & Tema) and Northern Ghana (Kumasi & Techiman). These investors will participate in the 8th GhanaVeg Business Platform Meeting on September 10th.
The participating companies are:

Amatrex:
Amatrex Holland delivers new and used machinery around the world. They offer a complete range of equipment for mainly agricultural and vegetable production. They also cover a complete range from soil preparation to product processing.
Again, they specialize in machinery for the cultivation of potatoes and vegetables (onions, carrots, maize, beans, etc.), sowing-machinery for vegetable-seeds and machines for both small scale & large scale farming.

Bejo:
Bejo is one of the leading companies in breeding, production, processing and sale of premium quality vegetable seeds. Our variety currently includes seed for onions, cabbage, carrot, eggplant and hot peppers. Bejo would like to meet agri input-dealers, (large scale) producers of vegetables, producers of onions, vegetable processing companies etc.
Bejo is specifically looking for Ghanaian distributors in both Accra and Northern Ghana as partners. Prospective partners should have a good technical basis and know how to do trials and give farmers technical support with introduction of high quality vegetable seeds from Bejo.

Frugi Venta:
Frugi Venta is a branche-organisation established to contribute to the market position and profit potential of its 420 members (fruit & vegetable trading companies and logistical service providers).
Frugi Venta is interested in meeting companies and organizations who are actively involved in the sale of fresh produce and related logistical services. They would like to discuss any experienced challenges and opportunities in this field, in order to provide their Dutch members with relevant information and contacts in the Ghanaian sector.
Total Produce:
Total Produce is specialized in sourcing exotic fruits and spices, mostly avocados, ginger, grapes, melons and stone fruit. Within Ghana specifically, they are interested in meeting companies growing or trading (certified) pineapples and/or (water) melon, or a business partner to cooperate with on setting up large scale production of these products.

Kramer
Kramer specializes in the distribution of (new and used) seeders for vegetables and offers both high-tech machinery as well as manual, small scale seeders. Next to that, Kramer also sells onion & carrot harvesters.
Growing vegetables is very specialized job which demands specialist machines. Kramer is specialized in building these machines, there are standard and optional specifications to meet your demands.
