Interests
We are interested to gain more insight in current market conditions & substrates used for growing & media used for propagation in Ghana, the alternatives available in the market & the current problems that growers are facing. The objective for this trade mission is to find a suitable reliable & financially stable partner to represent us in Ghana and maybe regionally. We are interested to meet and visit professional growers of different crop types, commercial level nurseries, agri-input suppliers and seed suppliers of quality seed brands.

Company 1- Plant growing media (substrates & propagation solutions)
We are specialized in plant growing media for professional growers, for different crop types & stages. They have specific tailor-made mixes for most commercial crops. Substrates and propagation solutions for commercial nurseries & growers. They have about 11 manufacturing facilities around the world. Most of their products are based on coco pith or peat.

Company 2- Higher Agri Educational Institute
We are a higher education institute offering higher education in TVET, in-company training, skill training, competence based, Problem Solved Learning. All this within the topic Agro Food and Living Environment. We can offer knowledge on entrepreneurship, education, post-harvesting, food-processing/packaging/ marketing/ distribution et cetera.

Interests
We are looking for collaboration with the private sector, SME’s, firms, cooperatives, multinationals and we are looking for Dutch and local partners to work with together. We are not solely looking for the primaries’ sector but more into post-harvest, food technology, food conservation, marketing and sales.

Company 3- Amino based organic fertilizers and bio-stimulants

We offer Amino based organic fertilizers and bio-stimulants which: increase stress resistance of plants; improve soil quality and soil life; give farmer improved quality and quantity of harvest and higher storability of harvested product; most of our products are organic approved (EU, German and Dutch).

Interests
We are very interested to meet with Ghanaian importers, distributors of input materials for growers/cooperatives, national grower-associations. In addition, we are interested to learn more about the challenges that farmers face while cultivating their crop (nutritional-pests-diseases) and the demands from the distribution channels of the growers (quality demands, residue demands etc.)

Company 4- soil analysis technology
Our technology is a specialist in in-field soil analysis, customized fertiliser recommendations, digitizing soil information. We enable measurement of real-time data on nutrients through the development and supply of soil analysis technology. Applications are key to our services. In combination with our in-house developed monitoring tools, our apps provide the world’s farming community with on-the-spot, fast, integrable and reliable data and customizable farm management recommendations.

Interests
We would like to meet Ghanaian stakeholders that are interested in offering soil analysis-as-a service. Potential clients and partners are the Ministry of agriculture, directorate of soil fertility; International NGOs working on food security, agri-food multinationals with own plantations or out grower programs, fertilizer companies and precision agricultural companies in for example mobile technology. Lastly, we would be interested to connect with financial service providers.

Company 5: high-quality vegetable seeds
We are a Dutch seed breeder and supplier of open pollinated variety and hybrid vegetable seeds since 1928.  We offer the following vegetable seeds: tomato, eggplant, pepper, beans, cabbage, watermelon, carrots, onion.

Interests
we are interested in knowing more about the Ghanaian vegetable and vegetable seeds market. We work with local distributors and are interested in meeting and visiting seed suppliers, agri-input dealers and potential distributors.

Company 6: bio-solutions for soil fertility and resilience
We provide fertilizer algae-based solutions for plant care, productive and sustainable plant production. Relying on high-tech ingredients, our solutions make fertilizers more efficient and help limit the use of fertilisers and pesticides on lawns, specialty crops and field crops. Our plant care department develops sustainable solutions for horticulture focusing on plants’ health and their environment. Improving soil structure and nutrition boosts soil fertility and crop vitality for better productivity without impacting crop quality. We also provide sustainable solutions for large-scale crops such as potatoes, onions, wheat, maize and sugar beets. The goal is a more environmentally friendly form of crop farming to help feed the ever-growing world population more healthily.

Interests
We work through local partners/ local distributors and are interested in meeting agri-input suppliers and distributors to explore possible partnerships. We would be interested to meet commercial cacao, maize, cotton, rice and fruit growers/producers for the local and export markets that are in need of crop strengthening and reinforcing soil resilience.

Company 7- Portable spraying (herbicides) tanks.                                               

Our ultra-low volume spraying systems are professional systems for effective, environmentally responsible and yet economical weed control with herbicides or herbicide mixtures without water (saving 50-80% of herbicides). We also have systems based on hot-water treatment for biological farms and for post-harvest treatment of fruit. We also offer hand-held portable units for maximum flexibility, ideal for use in areas of dense cultivation, irregular row cultivations, or anywhere where a high degree of flexibility is needed.

Interest
We are interested in meeting distributors and international end-users, bigger Ghanaian agri-supply companies, commercial fruit growers and agribusiness/ aggregators.

Company 8: Fertilizers                                         

We are active in the field of export and production of fertilizers. We can offer you granular/crystalline fertilizers, organic fertilizers, fertilizers tablets, NPK fertilizers, and liquid fertilizers. The fertilizers, from main West-European producers, are re-packed in our own WOPRO-branded 25 kg or 50 kg bags, in big bags, or in custom-made pre-printed bags. Also, a complete line of tailor made NPK-blends can be supplied, as well as soluble NPK-powders and a range of micronutrients. We offer a wide range of logistics solutions and always provide solutions suitable to your needs.

Interest
We would like to meet experienced companies, able and capable of importing fertilizers and perhaps more particular companies interested and capable of importing organic and specialty fertilizers.
