Speaking to the CEO of the Farmer’s Market, Mr. George Whyte, he emphatically stated that it was a “Dream” and 11 long years down the line, “I am glad I paid attention to that dream”.
According to him, “The Farmer’s Market” ensures quality and healthy produce for cherished customers. This is why they pay particular attention to what their farmers grow from the start of production to transporting produce to the shop.
He reiterated that supply of all inputs to farmers and monitoring of all processes of production is key to sustaining the quality standards the company upholds.
“Because we engage our out-growers in a friendly working environment where their need becomes our need, the issue of trust is settled. With this we can boast of 100 quality and healthy produce”.
In honour of the launch, Archbishop Forson of the Tema Diocese of the Methodist Church, Ghana, members of the Clergy, George Whyte and members present officially opened the facility for public use. After the opening, well-wishers took a tour of the facility.
