Greenhouse Profitability Discussion

GhanaVeg held a round table discussion on the profitability of the Amiran and EnvironDom model of greenhouses commercialized by Dizengoff Ltd and Stevicksen Limited respectively. These types were selected because they are the most popular model doted around the country and data on these two models are readily available. What the research sought to achieve among others are to;

• Evaluate the economic performance of the two most used greenhouses design

• Develop a number of scenarios that evaluate the influence of other management and design choices

The research put into consideration the cost of the structure and the revenue model. The findings  also made use of 3 scenarios in terms of size, yield and capex to determine results. The draft research analysis was presented to dealers and users of these two Greenhouses doted in the country. This research findings is a follow up of a previous report published on Greenhouses in 2015. A final copy will be finalized and distributed to stakeholders in due course.
