As part of sustainability measures, teachers from the Ejura College of Agriculture are being taken through a six-weeks intensive capacity strengthening in some Agronomy module; crop protection, transplant raising, fertilization, spraying techniques and adult-learning. This is to enable the Tutors take over the HortiFresh Agronomy Training program after HortiFresh ends.
The training will help tutors to use skills acquired to train regular, sandwich and short course students pursuing career in the field of Agriculture. At the end of the training, HortiFresh will hand over all training modules to the schools for future use as part of HortiFresh’s sustainability strategy for the horticulture sector.
