HortiFresh assisted in organising the meeting that led to the formation of the Mango Actors Association in Cote D’Ivoire (Inter-Mangue). The aim of the Association is to help address key challenges such as phytosanitation, processing, price, etc. in the Mango value chain. The event took place in Korhogo in Northern Ivory Coast. The association will also work to professionalise the sector and have a unified voice for the private sector. This will help HortiFresh to focus interventions in the sector in order to increase the quality of mangoes for the global, regional and domestic market.
The newly elected chairperson of the inter – Mangue Cote d’Ivoire, Mr. Nambelessini-Silué says FOTAMANA expressed his profound appreciation to HortiFresh for the support. He added that, the Association will work together with HortiFresh for the success of the mango value chain.
